Drags to Bitches
Jamie and i are off to http://www.harbourlight.co.nz/in Lyttelton tonight to see Pollyfilla
"Fresh faced from the Capital City , Drag Diva and soon-to-be International Superstar Pollyfilla brings her successful solo show to the Canterbury Plains for the first time ever, which ironically will be her last Christchurch appearance before she moves to Australia !
Expect the unexpected as sacred cows are satirized, Las Vegas glamour lampooned and Hollywood megalomania magnified in “POLLYWOOD! - drags to bitches” , a one “woman” revue, satirizing Celebrities and Actresses, the characters they played, the children they beat up behind closed doors, and the addictions that spun them out of control!
Audiences can expect Smatterings of Sequins, Sparkles, Synthetic hair, Six inch heels, Smutty jokes and Seat Wetting as Pollyfilla pulls out the stops in this Mid winter Christmas comedy with balls!
(May be inappropriate for anyone who finds swearing or men in dresses offensive)
Featuring over 20 Fabulously Fruity Frilly Florally Feathery Fantastic Costume Creations designed by award winning costume designer Colin McLean.
What the critics' have said of Pollyfillas' performances….
“ Wellingtons ' true Queen of High Camp…” – Mal Vaughan, Pound Nightclub
“The only person I know who manages to upstage herself…” – Express Newspaper
“…Like a Traffic light, with all the lights on at once” – Terry in the Area, Party Promoter
“…It's as if the whole show has been put together by a panel of cynical TV viewers with their fingers permanently on the channel flicker, best illustrated in the schizophrenic show-stopping finale …” – Chris Banks, GayNZ.com review"

New Chorography
I am trying to put together a new chorography for the next NZ Fetish Ball http://www.thefetishball.com/ which we have been invited once again to perform at. The theme is "Showtime" and since we are inclinded to do fusion piece we are going for "A ShowGirl" theme. I have been looking up Showgirl on the net and most of it involves nakeness, so imagine the showgirl theme without the nakeness, but with lots of:
1. Music - Lady Marmalade
2. Feathers and sequins
3. Attitude eg. I am goddess and you are not!
4. Stellitos ( have to practice dancing in these as not to fall over while being a goddess!!!!!!!!)
5. Auidence interation with a twist. (cant get tooooooo close to the audience at a fetish ball?) Actually my experience is that they are probably more well behaved than "normal" men with half a glass of beer in them.
6. Inspiration......eg i have to try and inspire the other girls to get into the swing of it 4 months out so we can get the timeing perfect as not to make a fool of the said goddesses!
The picture above is the beginning of the costume....and at some stage in the future will post the pictures of the full costumes........Should be fun....

Pics from the Kinglake Holiday
Marlene and her next door neighbour, who's name I've now forgotten!
She is Jim's wife.
Gary propping up the bar with Julie (Marlene's niece) who he was chatting up.
This lovely lass was just inside the door of a large second-hand shop that me, Gary and Pete went to. Note the teeth in the pliers she is holding.
