Drags to Bitches

Jamie and i are off to http://www.harbourlight.co.nz/in Lyttelton tonight to see Pollyfilla

"Fresh faced from the Capital City , Drag Diva and soon-to-be International Superstar Pollyfilla brings her successful solo show to the Canterbury Plains for the first time ever, which ironically will be her last Christchurch appearance before she moves to Australia !

Expect the unexpected as sacred cows are satirized, Las Vegas glamour lampooned and Hollywood megalomania magnified in “POLLYWOOD! - drags to bitches” , a one “woman” revue, satirizing Celebrities and Actresses, the characters they played, the children they beat up behind closed doors, and the addictions that spun them out of control!

Audiences can expect Smatterings of Sequins, Sparkles, Synthetic hair, Six inch heels, Smutty jokes and Seat Wetting as Pollyfilla pulls out the stops in this Mid winter Christmas comedy with balls!

(May be inappropriate for anyone who finds swearing or men in dresses offensive)

Featuring over 20 Fabulously Fruity Frilly Florally Feathery Fantastic Costume Creations designed by award winning costume designer Colin McLean.

What the critics' have said of Pollyfillas' performances….
“ Wellingtons ' true Queen of High Camp…” – Mal Vaughan, Pound Nightclub
“The only person I know who manages to upstage herself…” – Express Newspaper
“…Like a Traffic light, with all the lights on at once” – Terry in the Area, Party Promoter
“…It's as if the whole show has been put together by a panel of cynical TV viewers with their fingers permanently on the channel flicker, best illustrated in the schizophrenic show-stopping finale …” – Chris Banks, GayNZ.com review"

Looks really interesting though I don't think Dad would appreciate the humour! You'll get lots of ideas for your performance at the ball later on. Have you been to that theatre before?

Just at home - something I don't do very often! I was told by the boss yesterday that I have to take some of my holidays. I have 8 weeks owing and that doesnt include this years 4 weeks. I'm having 3 weeks off from 21 Aug to 11 Sept. I'll probably just do calves and I plan to spend a few days with Jenny in the last week. She's moving to Orere Point which is on the east coast out from Pakuranga - across the water from the Coromandel peninsula. I'm looking forward to it. Dad has been moaning about having to move the cows and feed out hay - whoop-de-do how hard is that???
