Kuljish Family Blog

Picture of Sean making his hut in the Dark Forest while on holiday at Tangaihi earlier this year.

Rainy Saturday in the Winterless North

Helen, I think that Sharron Kuljish must be Walter Kuljish's (Peter's brother) daughter-in-law. He's got a couple of sons and Dad doesn't think he has a daughter.
Stephen came to pick me and Uncle Don up this morning and took us down to his place to look at a sick calf. I think he's wasting money pouring antibiotics into it should just knock it on the head. It's only a mongrel Jersey steer and worth nothing really.
Dad put the net out last night and got about 25 mullet which he'll be smoking tomorrow. We had some the other weekend and it was lovely and yummy.
Angelena spent a night in hospital last week. Seems she might have appendicitis but they don't seem to want to take it out - would rather treat her with antibiotics instead. Stephen said she was OK now. Sheree's grandmother (Mrs Jones) died yesterday. She had cancer and was in Kauri Coast resthome for the past two weeks. She was 89.
Grandad is not too bright at present and an X-Ray showed a spot on his lung which will make him really happy - he has something wrong with him!! He is on antibiotics for a month and if it's still there then it might be something more serious.

It seems strange that they wouldnt take out Angelenas appendicit (sp) i thought if someone had it then they automatically took it out. Thats not very good about grandad but as you said it might just make him happy well until the reality of it settles in if it is cancer.

I dont want to hear about your seafood.
