The new kitchen
Here are the promised pictures of the new kitchen. The pantry minus the doors and sides and the colour as depicted in the insert for the new microwave. It is the colour of paua - just what I envisaged although it looks more blue in the photo.
And a pic of a warm and sunny winter day at Tangaihi - very balmy and warm - much like Lyttelton I imagine. This was taken from the deck as me, Dad and Neil enjoyed a drink (or 2 or 3). I so like green ginger wine - would you like one Jamie?

wow that looks great, its a huge improvment on what it use to look like even if it isnt finished yet, so have you made a start on the other side of the kitchen yet?
No i dont think the temp up there would have been anything at all like lyttelton today considering this morning it was -1 degrees!
