Uniqueness

We are all unique and quite special in our own way. It's an awesome thought that we could travel the whole of the world and not find another person just like us. Certainley we would find people who looked like us, thought as we did, responded in the same way on the emotional level and had similar character traits; but we would never find an exact replica of ourselfs. The fact that you would never find anybody that had your exact psychological or physiological make-up, the same talets and abilities in the proportions that you have them, makes you unique. You are literally one among millions. We know that each person in the world has a different thumb print; there never has been and never will be another you, despite the millions of people who have inhabited the earth in the past, do so now, and will do so in the future. Are you beginning to get an inkling of how special you are, and how much you should vaule your individuality? It is a special gift and you should gaurd it carefully.
The thought that each one of us is unique among millions is not one to be tossed aside lightly and forgotten. We should mull over it and try to grasp its full implications; realising what this truth means to us, and vauling ourselves the more becasue of it. It is in the realisation and acceptence of truths such as this that we become more fully aware of ourselves, and ultimately of our real worth- and awareness is the start of change.
