The new kitchen continues to take shape
Yesterday I bought a new stainless steel sink and drain tray for my new benchtop. Hopefully Dave will put it in this weekend. It was a super duper bargain - only $23 - because when I bought that and the new cupboard handles, the checkout girl only charged me GST on the sink and didn't key in the price. I was most pleased when I checked my docket later on!! You can't get good staff these days - on the other hand I think she's pretty good at her job! I got pewter handles - plain and long. All that's left to buy is the dishwasher and microwave.

Well that is not being very honest now is it now mother! I went to the supermarket the other day and got a few groceries to the vaule of about 230.00 which is pretty normal...A couple of days latter i checked my docket and noticed i had been charged 43.80 for a pot of coleslaw. I had to get my pot of coleslaw out of the rubbish (if only i had listen to nana auckland and washed my rubbish before putting it in the blak sak) anyway, i went back t the supermarket yesterday and got my 43.80 back... so yeah i was in the receiving end, mother and know how it feels to be ripped off...so i think you better take that sink back and own up
i would love to see some pics of it before it gets finished. How is gary going with the wooden thing?
I'll take pics of it this weekend. Gary's wooden thing is not a happening thing as yet. Dave said he'd knock up something temporary - maybe he means a fence batten.
